Welcome to Explore RV Rental LLC. By reserving, renting, or operating one of our recreational vehicles, you (“Renter”) agree to these Terms of Service. These terms provide an overview and govern all reservations made through our website, in person, or on third-party platforms (including Wheelbase, RVshare, or Outdoorsy).
Important Notice: These Terms of Service are a high-level summary. The full, binding terms governing your rental—including detailed liability, damage responsibility, use restrictions, release of claims, indemnification, and other protections—are set forth in the General Rental Agreement provided at booking/confirmation. By proceeding with a reservation or accepting possession of the Vehicle, you agree to all terms in the General Rental Agreement, which supersedes any inconsistencies here.
1. Rental Agreement All reservations are subject to the full terms in our General Rental Agreement. By confirming your reservation (via website, email, or in-person), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all terms therein, including but not limited to cancellation policy, insurance requirements, vehicle use restrictions, damage responsibility, and release of liability.
2. Eligibility Renters must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Only authorized drivers listed on the reservation may operate the RV or tow the travel trailer. All drivers must meet the same eligibility and insurance requirements as the primary Renter.
3. Vehicle Use Climbing on the roof, texting or distracted driving, and exceeding 75 MPH are prohibited. Smoking inside the unit is strictly prohibited. Pets are allowed only with required prior written approval from the Company; unauthorized pets or evidence of pets may result in cleaning fees and forfeiture of deposit. Any violation of use policies may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and additional charges.
4. Insurance & Liability Motorhome renters must purchase liability insurance or provide proof of a valid insurance binder. Travel trailer renters must ensure their tow vehicle’s liability policy extends coverage to the rented unit (verification required). The Company does not provide roadside assistance; Renter is responsible for arranging any needed service. Renter assumes full responsibility for the safe operation, control, and use of the Vehicle after possession is transferred, including all acts/omissions of any driver or occupant.
5. Fees & Charges Additional charges may apply for late returns, failure to refill fuel or propane, waste tank dumping, excess mileage/generator usage, improper cleaning (including but not limited to food spills, stains, trash left behind, pet hair, sand, mud, smoke odor, or failure to empty tanks), tire damage from road hazards/curbing/improper inflation, or other violations. 6. Cancellations Our cancellation policy varies based on notice given and reservation length. No refunds or credits are issued for early returns for any reason (including change of plans, weather, mechanical issues not rendering the Vehicle inoperable, or dissatisfaction). Please refer to the full terms in the General Rental Agreement prior to booking.
7. Data & Privacy By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information for booking, communication, and marketing purposes. We may also use photos or videos submitted by renters for promotional content, including on the website and social media.
8. Dispute Resolution & Payment Renter agrees not to initiate any credit card chargeback or payment dispute for charges authorized under the Rental Agreement. In the event of a chargeback or dispute, Renter agrees to pay all associated fees, costs, and collection expenses, including reasonable attorney fees.
9. Modifications Explore RV Rental LLC reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services or completion of a reservation after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
